Mark Herr

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Mark Herr grew up in Sylvania Township as one of eleven children. His upbringing instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, leadership, and family—principles that have guided him throughout his personal and professional life.

Mark has dedicated more than three decades to the legal profession and public service. After beginning his career as a prosecutor in 1989, he served as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1989–2020, gaining extensive courtroom experience and a reputation for integrity, preparation, and sound judgment. In 2024, Mark joined Johnson & Associates, LLC, where he continues to practice law.

Outside of his legal career, Mark is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. Above all, family remains his greatest pride. Mark has been married to his wife for 35 years, and together they have three children.

Mark brings to the practice a unique combination of decades of courtroom experience, leadership, community commitment, and a genuine dedication to helping others.
